Ever watched a Sci-Fi movie where a so called computer hacker types random stuff at lightning speed without even thinking of touching the mouse? well!, here is how they do it, all you have to do is equip yourself with some cool keyboard shortcut tricks that you can always practice and within a day or two your friends will start calling you a wizard.
To be sincere using the keyboard is so cool that it makes
you even feel good about your awesomeness and more to that it helps you get
things done faster than dragging the mouse from one corner to another. This
article is intended for PC/WINDOWS users so read while you practice to become your own best.
PRACTICE AT LIST 4 EACH DAY TO BECOME A GENIUS IN ONE WEEK.
CTRL + C = Copy.
CTRL + X = Cut.
CTRL + V = Paste.
CTRL + Z = Undo.
DELETE = Delete.
CTRL + S = Save.
SHIFT + DELETE = Delete selected item permanently without placing it in the recycle Bin.
CTRL = holding down the CTRL key while clicking on items in
a folder will help you highlight random items in that folder for either copying
or deleting.
CTRL + SHIFT while dragging an item = creates a shortcut of
the selected item.
F2 key = rename the selected item or folder.
CTRL + RIGHT ARROW = Move the insertion point to the
beginning of the next word.
CTRL + LEFT ARROW = Move the insertion point to beginning of
the previous word.
SHIFT plus any of the arrow keys = Highlights a block of
text or items in that direction.
CTRL + A = Selects all content in that area, open window or program.
F3 Key = search for a file or folder.
ALT + ENTER = View the properties of the selected item.
ALT + F4 = Close the active program or item. Doing this
continuously closes all active items one at a time.
ALT + SPACEBAR = Opens the shortcut menu for the active window.
CTRL + F4 = Opens the search panel of the open window.
ALT + TAB = switch or navigate between open tabs or items.
ALT + ESC = Cycle through items in the order that they had
been opened.
F6 Key = Cycle through the screen elements in a window or on
the desktop.
F4 Key = Display the address bar list in my computer or
windows explorer.
SHIFT + F10 = Display the shortcut menu for the selected item.
CTRL + ESC = Display the shortcut menu of windows.
CTRL + F10 Key = Activates the menu bar in the active
program.
CTRL + F5 = Refreshes windows.
SPACE BAR = Views the folder one level up in my computer or
windows explorer.
ESC = Cancel the current task.
SHIFT = When you insert a CD/DVD into the drive prevents it
from playing automatically.
CTRL + SHIFT + ESC = Opens the Task Manager.
WINDOWS LOGO KEY = Displays or hides the start menu.
WINDOWS LOGO + D = Displays the desktop.
WINDOWS LOGO + M = Minimize all open windows.
WINDOWS LOGO + SHIFT + M = Restore all minimized windows.
WINDOWS LOGO + E = Open my computer.
WINDOWS LOGO + F = Search for a file or a folder.
WINDOWS LOGO + L = Locks the keyboard.
WINDOWS LOGO + R = Opens the windows run dialog box.
WINDOWS LOGO + U = Opens the utility manager.
END = Displays the bottom of the active window.
HOME = Displays the top of the active window.
NUM LOCK + (*) = Displays all of the subfolders that are
under the selected folder.
NUM LOCK + (+) = Displays all of the contents of the
selected folder.
NUM LOCK + (-) = Collapses the selected folder.

CTRL + P = Print the current page.
ALT + (-) = Displays the window menu for the active console window.
