MY LAPTOP WON'T CONNECT TO THE INTERNET ?
CAN'T CONNECT TO THE INTERNET?, READ THIS!


Having a computer that won’t connect to the internet is like having a computer with dead USB ports, in other wards equally useless. Therefore we need our computer to be in position to connect to the wireless internet.
In laptops look for the button with a wireless network symbol as shown in the picture above and make sure it is turned ON, this button can either be on the sides of the laptop or on the keyboard itself. All you have to do is locate it and press or slide it to activate the network card, in normal sense it should light to show that it is on and fully functional. If it has no light signal locate its “Turned on” signal from the taskbar as shown in the picture below and you will good to go.
If this doesn’t work but the hardware seems fine then we have to look into the software, you can easily confirm this by right clicking on “THIS PC” IN WINDOWS 10 > Manage > device manager and on the right hand side locate any drivers with a yellow exclamation mark. Right click on it and press update, if not then acquire a driver disc and run the software manually. Here is a video on how to do this automatically.

first time using that particular model of as laptop designs change every single day depending on manufacturer’s preference.

This means that you turn on the network from the main button
and then run the software to make sure everything connects at the same time.
After this your computer will able to sense all WiFi signals around you and
connect to any of your choice any time. To increase you WiFi signal strength
you may have to upgrade to a more recent network card that suits your PC
available on the market, this can either be a USB alternative network card or an internal (link) card depending on your choice and budget.
IN DESKTOPS.
In desktops it is easier as these are quick to disassemble
and assemble. First of all make sure that a network card actually exists in
there and if not either get an internal or a USB one. These may also have
software problems installing and running as expected so make sure to run the
software after inserting the card. You can run a network troubleshooter to if
you install both software and hardware and still have issues.
Please note that you will have to restart your computer
after installation of both the hardware and the software.
In both the laptop and the desktop you will have to go to
the BIOS settings of your computer and make sure wireless network support is
turned ON.
If you’re having problems connecting to the internet via
your USB modem then whether it’s a laptop or desktop the solution is the same.
Go to the control panel of your windows PC > Network and
Internet > connect to the internet > Broadband (PPPoE) > the press “create
connection anyway”. Close out of there and then go to the icon the looks like
this on the extreme right of the taskbar normally after the battery symbol. Press
once on it and on the pop up menu click on > “broadband connection”. In the
open window provided under DIAL-UP click on it again to open> finally choose
“connect and you will be good to go. Your computer will instantly connect to
the network without any third party software needed.
This formula works for laptop and desktop PC users. So this
means that if you ever have a USB modem without software you can always use the
dial-up connection in windows and it will connect right away. This trick works
100%.
