HOW TO REMOVE THE “ACTIVATE WINDOWS” ERROR MASSAGE WITHOUT BUYING THE ACTIVATOR?
REMOVE
THE “ACTIVATE WINDOWS” ERROR MASSAGE WITHOUT BUYING THE ACTIVATOR.
So many of us have windows 10 installation packages but not all of us have activated windows
version of it, so we end up installing only to be disappointed at the end when
windows drops a warning report asking you to activate windows. This can be really annoying
as it won’t leave the screen and if you are not so technical you may fail to
remove the error report.
The truth is
you can leave without the activation if you really don’t have the activation
key and you don’t have the time and money to spend on Microsoft to activate your
package for you. So I will show you how to just remove the error massage and
continue enjoying your PC normally.
Now that we
know that we can get away with it, let’s get into the steps to remove the error
report normally on the bottom right of the screen as shown above.
TRICK 1. TURNING OFF NOTIFFICATIONS.
- First of all we have to go to the main PC notification settings which we can easily access by typing “notifications” in the search bar at the bottom left of the task bar in windows 10.
- Soon as you’re done typing this in, you will see a pull up menu and in this choose the first option on top which will be “notifications and action settings”.
- Under this you will have to select “notifications & actions” then look on the right hand side where you will see all active notifications.
- Here all you have to do is disable all of them because they do nothing anyway, and good enough they cause no harm to the computer at all, so you can go right ahead.
- After this step you will have to restart your computer and check your results, most cases depending on the version of windows 10 you’re using you will be safe.
TRICK 2. USING THE REGISTRY EDITOR [Regedit]
If you didn’t get lucky from the steps above then
continue here, if you did then you’re good to go.
- Press the Windows Logo key + R on your keyboard to open the “Run” dialog box.
- Next, type “regedit” and press enter. This will take you on a new window.
- Now, look for HKEY_CURRENT_USER, and expand it.
- Then, double-click on “PaintDesktopVersion”.
- After that, change “1” to “0” then “OK”.
- Close regedit.
- Restart your computer.
- After your device is back on, the “activate Windows 10” error massage will be long gone.
TRICK 3. USING NOTE PAD.
Open Notepad on your desktop. If you don’t know how to open the
notepad press the windows logo key to open the star menu, in the search bar at
the bottom left of the task bar type “ notepad”.
In the pull up menu it will be the very first one on top, click to open it and then type EXACTLY this;
@echo(space)off
taskkill /F(space) /IM explorer.exe
explorer.exe
exit
taskkill /F(space) /IM explorer.exe
explorer.exe
exit
- Now click “Save As” on File. Then, change its type of file to “All Files”. Next, name it as “remove.bat”.
- Now go to the file location.
- After that, select the file and right-click it. Choose “Run as administrator” (the one with shield icon). This time, your device will get restarted.
- Next, wait for a few minutes, and you’ll notice that the activate Windows 10 watermark has disappeared from your screen device.
